"Letterman" draws inspiration from athletic uniforms, sporting venues, and Southern tradition to reimagine the all-American nostalgia of the latter half of the 20th century. The colors and graphics included in the collection are inspired by a thoroughly compiled image archive of retro sports uniforms, vintage labels, and kitschy southern home decor. Such motifs are translated through the use of classic American materials and textile techniques. The collection aims to recontextualize what it means to be an athlete, a Southerner, and an American.
